Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog today - especially those of you who are new and part of tonight's hop :) We all know how enticing the new Christmas collections are going to be this year (they are every year) but I was determined to use up my older collections (I'm talking 2009-2011 kind of years!) before I purchased any of the new ones. As I am also doing a market in November and selling handmade cards, this is an awesome way to kick start my Christmas card pile!
You can join the fun and create something too, use the hastag #scrapbookchristmas in twitter, facebook or instagram.
Today I want to share with you some Christmas cards I made on a retreat recently. It was a 3.5 day retreat over the long weekend and my plan was to make Christmas cards. All weekend. I managed to come out of the weekend with 32 more cards than I started with, and 4 less paper pads from 2009 and 2010. Still got heaps from 2011 and 2012 to use but I'll get there! I mainly buy Kaisercraft products so all the paper pads mentioned are from Kaisercraft.
You'll probably notice the cards don't have sentiments on them yet - to save time, I decided against taking my stamps and still haven't actually gotten around to doing that! Oops!
Also, sorry the pics are a bit dark and not the best - I was running out of time to take them so these will have to do until the sunshine decides to make an appearance!
Dear Santa (2009)
Be Merry (2010)
Tis the Season (2010)
Thanks for stopping by today and if you're new here, I do hope you'll stick around. Next on the hop is Megan.
